Yes. Both orders point at the same exam ID, and each carries its own frame, lens, discount, and balance.
What if the lab returns a wrong lens?
Set the lab job status to Returned to Lab and update the expected date. The order stays At Lab and the tracker keeps counting against the promised date.
Does it check the prescription or connect to the lab system?
No. It stores what you enter and computes prices, balances, and stock. It does not validate prescriptions or talk to any laboratory system.
