Holidays are when children are most curious about traditions, which makes them a great time to learn. Valentine's Cards is a 12-page printable pack for kids in Grades 1 to 3.

What is inside

The pack has 6 greeting cards, 2 draw & write and 1 fun facts. Page titles include “Valentine's Day” and “Draw and write”. Instructions are written in English with a Filipino line underneath, so kids and parents can use whichever language is easier.

Covers and headers are in full color, but every activity area is black line art on white, so the pages print cleanly in grayscale and do not waste ink.

Skills it builds

Working through the pages practices seasonal fun and activities. Each page takes about 15 to 20 minutes, which suits the attention span of kids in Grades 1 to 3.

How to use it

  • Display finished cards and crafts as holiday decorations.
  • Give cousins the same pages during the family get-together.
  • Use the facts page as a conversation starter with the whole family.
  • Let your child read the instructions first, then check the first answer together.

Ideas beyond the page

Use the holiday facts for a short family quiz. Decorate the house with the crafts the week before.

Who it is for

Early graders can follow written instructions and enjoy finishing a page on their own, with an adult nearby to check. At 12 pages, this is a short mini pack, good for a week of practice or a single weekend. Parents can use it for homeschool or after-school practice, and teachers can print it for one classroom.

Printing tips

The file is an A4 PDF. Choose “Fit to page” and print one-sided; black-and-white is fine for the activity pages. At a computer shop, bring the PDF on your phone or a USB drive. You can print the whole pack or only the pages you need, as many times as you like for your own children or your own classroom.
