Short, regular handwriting practice beats one long session on the weekend. Print Handwriting Sentences is a 24-page printable pack for kids in Grades 1 to 3.

What is inside

The pack has 6 free writing, 3 copywork and 2 sentence practice, plus 10 bonus pages. Page titles include “Copywork”, “Write the sentences” and “Journal”. Instructions are written in English with a Filipino line underneath, so kids and parents can use whichever language is easier.

Covers and headers are in full color, but every activity area is black line art on white, so the pages print cleanly in grayscale and do not waste ink.

Skills it builds

Working through the pages practices sentence writing and spacing. Each page takes about 15 to 20 minutes, which suits the attention span of kids in Grades 1 to 3.

How to use it

  • Praise the best letter on each row instead of pointing out every wobble.
  • Use a pencil, not a pen, so mistakes can be erased and redone.
  • Check the starting dot on each row; correct stroke order matters more than speed.
  • Let your child read the instructions first, then check the first answer together.

Ideas beyond the page

Practise the same letters in the air, on sand, or with a finger on a table before using the page. Write one word a day on a sticky note and hide it for your child to find and read.

Who it is for

Early graders can follow written instructions and enjoy finishing a page on their own, with an adult nearby to check. At 24 pages, this is an activity pack with enough variety for a few weeks of regular practice. Parents can use it for homeschool or after-school practice, and teachers can print it for one classroom.

Printing tips

The file is an A4 PDF. Choose “Fit to page” and print one-sided; black-and-white is fine for the activity pages. At a computer shop, bring the PDF on your phone or a USB drive. You can print the whole pack or only the pages you need, as many times as you like for your own children or your own classroom.
