Custom furniture is quoted from experience and built from whatever is in the shop, which is why a busy month can end with an empty cash box. The lumber went out without a name on it, the finisher was paid in cash, and the price was agreed before the fabric went up. MueblesDesk PH charges every peso of material and labor to the order it belongs to, so profit per piece is visible.

Open the order with a price and a date

An order carries the customer, item description, item type, quantity, agreed price, and promised date. Those two numbers are the whole contract, so they live in one row.

Days to promised counts down from today, and timing shows Late once the promised date passes on an order that has not been delivered.

Charge materials to the order

Lumber, plywood, foam, and fabric are issued with an Order Use movement carrying the order ID. Quantity times unit cost becomes the material cost on that order, and stock on hand drops at the same time.

Because the same movement feeds both, the shop's stock list and its job costing can never drift apart.

Pay by the piece and charge it to the order

Piece work rows record the worker, task, stage, pieces, and pay per piece. Only rows marked Done are charged to the order, so work still on the bench does not inflate the cost.

WORKER PAYOUTS totals each worker's pieces done, amount earned, adjustments, and what has been paid, which is the number to settle on payout day.

Read the profit before quoting again

Profit is agreed price less material cost less worker pay. Seen across several orders, it shows which item types actually earn and which ones only look busy.

The dashboard puts open orders, late orders, order value, collections, unpaid balances, and profit side by side, which is enough to decide whether the next quote should be higher.

Review exceptions every week

Resolve duplicate IDs, missing links, overdue balances, negative amounts, and open operational items in CHECKS before using the dashboard for decisions.
