Many kids hear Filipino every day but rarely read or write it; these pages close that gap. Ibong Adarna Study Guide is a 24-page printable pack for teens ages 12 to 17.

What is inside

The pack has 4 theme essays, 2 review questions, 1 summary, 1 characters and 1 story map, plus 10 bonus pages. Page titles include “Ibong Adarna”, “Tema: Kabutihan laban sa inggit”, “Tema: Katiyagaan at pagsunod sa payo”, “Tema: Pagpapatawad sa pamilya” and “Tema: Pag-ibig at katapatan”. An answer key at the back makes checking quick. Everything is written in Filipino first, with short English notes where they help parents.

Covers and headers are in full color, but every activity area is black line art on white, so the pages print cleanly in grayscale and do not waste ink.

Skills it builds

Working through the pages practices literature and review. Each page takes about a few minutes a day, which suits the attention span of teens ages 12 to 17.

How to use it

  • Let older siblings or Lola check the answers; it becomes a family activity.
  • Say the pantig slowly and clap them out before writing.
  • Keep a small list of new words on the fridge.
  • Teens get the most out of planners when they fill them in at the same time each day.

Ideas beyond the page

Gumawa ng maikling kuwento gamit ang mga bagong salita. Mag-laro ng bugtungan bago matulog.

Who it is for

Teens prefer a clean, minimal look, so the pages skip cartoon art and focus on clear structure. At 24 pages, this is an activity pack with enough variety for a few weeks of regular practice. Parents can use it for homeschool or after-school practice, and teachers can print it for one classroom.

Printing tips

The file is an A4 PDF. Choose “Fit to page” and print one-sided; black-and-white is fine for the activity pages. At a computer shop, bring the PDF on your phone or a USB drive. You can print the whole pack or only the pages you need, as many times as you like for your own children or your own classroom.
