Tracing first and writing independently second is how most children learn letter shapes that stick. Cursive Paragraphs is a 24-page printable pack for kids in Grades 4 to 6.

What is inside

The pack has 6 free writing, 5 cursive letters, 2 copywork and 1 sentence practice, plus 7 bonus pages. Page titles include “Cursive copywork”, “Write the sentences”, “Journal”, “Trace G to L” and “Trace M to R”. Instructions are written in English with a Filipino line underneath, so kids and parents can use whichever language is easier.

Covers and headers are in full color, but every activity area is black line art on white, so the pages print cleanly in grayscale and do not waste ink.

Skills it builds

Working through the pages practices cursive and stamina. Each page takes about 20 to 30 minutes, which suits the attention span of kids in Grades 4 to 6.

How to use it

  • Check the starting dot on each row; correct stroke order matters more than speed.
  • Praise the best letter on each row instead of pointing out every wobble.
  • Do one page a day rather than several at once.
  • Most children this age can work through a page on their own and self-check with the key.

Ideas beyond the page

Let your child write a grocery list or a short note using the letters they just practised. Practise the same letters in the air, on sand, or with a finger on a table before using the page.

Who it is for

Older kids can work independently, so pages are denser and include challenge items and an answer key where it applies. At 24 pages, this is an activity pack with enough variety for a few weeks of regular practice. Parents can use it for homeschool or after-school practice, and teachers can print it for one classroom.

Printing tips

The file is an A4 PDF. Choose “Fit to page” and print one-sided; black-and-white is fine for the activity pages. At a computer shop, bring the PDF on your phone or a USB drive. You can print the whole pack or only the pages you need, as many times as you like for your own children or your own classroom.
