Home baking businesses grow on Facebook and word of mouth, and they usually price by feel: what the neighbour charges, what customers seem willing to pay. Then butter goes up, a fondant cake takes twice the materials expected, or a customer disappears after the cake is baked. CakeDesk PH starts from the recipe, so every price has a cost under it and every order has a deposit beside it.

Price from the recipe

Each ingredient records its pack size and pack cost, and the cost per gram, milliliter or piece follows. Recipe lines turn that into the cost of each menu item.

With packaging added, the price check labels each item Healthy, Thin or Low, which is often the first time a baker sees that the brownies sold to cafes barely cover the butter.

Orders with a slot and a deposit

An order records the occasion, scheduled pickup, time slot and whether it is picked up or delivered. Its lines carry the agreed price and the design notes.

The deposit check reads Follow up deposit when an order under half paid is three days from pickup, so nobody bakes a two-tier cake on a promise.

Balances after pickup

Payments are recorded as a deposit, partial payment, balance or full payment. A completed order that still owes money reads Collect balance.

Reseller accounts that pay weekly stay visible as balances instead of being forgotten between deliveries.

What each order really earned

The order margin report subtracts the cost of every line and any expense tagged to the order, such as outsourced toppers or a rider, from its total due.

Large custom orders with discounts and delivery are where margins surprise, and this is where it shows.

Review exceptions every week

Resolve duplicate IDs, missing links, overdue balances, negative amounts, and open operational items in CHECKS before using the dashboard for decisions.
