Reading starts with hearing the sounds inside words, and phonics practice makes those sounds visible. A to Z Picture Cards is a 13-page printable pack for toddlers ages 2 to 3.

What is inside

The pack has 10 letter cards. Page titles include “Letters A to F”, “Letters G to L”, “Letters M to R”, “Letters S to X” and “Letters Y to Z”. Instructions are written in English with a Filipino line underneath, so kids and parents can use whichever language is easier.

Covers and headers are in full color, but every activity area is black line art on white, so the pages print cleanly in grayscale and do not waste ink.

Skills it builds

Working through the pages practices letter recognition and vocabulary. Each page takes about 5 to 10 minutes, which suits the attention span of toddlers ages 2 to 3.

How to use it

  • Say each sound out loud together before writing anything.
  • Use the words from the pack in a short spoken sentence.
  • Point to the picture first, then to the letters, so the link is clear.
  • Sit beside your child and do the first page together.

Ideas beyond the page

Read a short storybook together and point out the words your child now recognises. Go on a sound hunt around the house for things that start with the week's sound.

Who it is for

Toddlers learn through short bursts of play, so the pages use big shapes, thick outlines and almost no reading. At 13 pages, this is a short mini pack, good for a week of practice or a single weekend. Parents can use it for homeschool or after-school practice, and teachers can print it for one classroom.

Printing tips

The file is an A4 PDF. Choose “Fit to page” and print one-sided; black-and-white is fine for the activity pages. At a computer shop, bring the PDF on your phone or a USB drive. You can print the whole pack or only the pages you need, as many times as you like for your own children or your own classroom.
